Once a legendary outpost for heli-skiers, the Alaska Rendezvous Lodge is returning to life with renewed purpose. Nestled beneath the Chugach Mountains, it’s a place where cozy accommodations, comforting meals, and stories shared over a drink are part of the experience.

Now fully revitalized, the Lodge complements the Tsaina by offering guests another unforgettable base for world-class heli-skiing. With a deep respect for its history and a bold vision for the future, the Alaska Rendezvous Lodge blends comfort, community, and wild Alaskan adventure, creating the kind of memories that last a lifetime.

The blue hole effect, a unique weather phenomenon that often brings clearer skies despite surrounding cloud cover, is present not only at the Tsaina Lodge, but also at the Alaska Rendezvous Lodge.

Perched at the top of Thompson Pass, the Rendezvous enjoys this same advantage, offering our guests alternative good-weather terrain just minutes away by helicopter.

This strategic location increases our flexibility to fly and opens up more opportunities to ride, even when conditions elsewhere are limited.

Wilderness meets comfort.

Our new yurt accommodations offer a unique blend of comfort and immersion in the Alaskan wilderness. Fast Wi-Fi is available across the entire site, so you can stay connected, even in the heart of the mountains. A dedicated gym yurt is also available for our guests, perfect for a daily workout or a morning warm-up before heading out to ski.

The double-bedroom yurts are thoughtfully divided into two private suites, each with its own bedroom and private bathroom, making them ideal for friends or pairs traveling together. These yurts are arranged around a central communal yurt featuring a cozy living room, TV, and snacks.

For a more exclusive experience, we also offer single-bedroom yurts with private bathrooms, grouped around a private lounge yurt complete with couches, a TV, driving simulator, and a kitchen where your private chef prepares personalized meals.

With its laid-back vibe, it’s the perfect place to kick back with a cold beer after chasing lines in the Chugach, trade stories with fellow adventurers, forge new friendships, or settle in for a hearty, well-earned dinner.
